Plasnomic is pleased to announce that Tanner Jacobs has joined the organization as Director of Technical Excellence, bringing more than 20 years of specialized experience in plastic repair, collision and technical training
Tanner’s background includes deep experience with leading MSOs and, most recently, technical training with Tesla. Throughout his career, he has trained thousands of technicians, developed advanced trainer-development programs for a leading OEM automotive brand, created plastic repair SOPs for large MSOs, and helped build structured learning environments that improve consistency, adoption, and technical performance.
In his new role, Tanner will support Plasnomic’s next phase of growth by driving partner engagement, technical validation, and plastic repair process assessment. His ability to bridge the gap between technicians, training teams, operations, and executive leadership makes him a valuable addition to Plasnomic’s mission.
“Tanner brings the field credibility, systems thinking, and technical leadership needed as Plasnomic moves deeper into repair process validation and industry alignment,” said Mario Dimovski, President and Council Chair of Plasnomic.
Tanner’s expertise extends beyond technical instruction into learning development, communication strategy, and culture building.
His appointment marks an important step forward as Plasnomic continues working to close the knowledge gap, support industry-aligned best practices, and build a more transparent, evidence-driven future for automotive plastic repair.
