Developing Structured Programs in Collaboration with Training Bodies
As plastic repair becomes a more specialized discipline, there is an urgent need to equip technicians with the right skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience to perform high-quality repairs. Plasnomic is working closely with training bodies, industry leaders, and OEMs to develop a structured, certified training program that will set the gold standard for plastic repairs globally.
Traditional training programs in the collision industry have primarily focused on localized, commercially driven, and outdated processes, leaving technicians underprepared for modern plastic repair challenges. Plasnomic is bridging this gap by creating comprehensive training modules covering:
- Plastic Material Science – Understanding different types of plastics used in vehicle manufacturing and their repair characteristics.
- Plastic Welding Techniques – Training technicians in hot-air welding, fusion welding, and OEM-compatible repair methods.
- Advanced Repair Methods – Utilizing filler-free repairs, welding reinforcement techniques, and Plasnomic-approved materials.
- Damage Assessment & Repair Planning – Teaching technicians how to assess damage and determine whether a part should be repaired or replaced.
- AI-Driven Training & Digital Learning – Offering mobile learning platforms and virtual reality (VR) training simulations for hands-on skill development.
Plasnomic will partner with vocational schools, collision repair networks, and industry certification bodies to integrate these programs into existing training structures. Our goal is to ensure that every certified technician has access to the latest repair techniques and emerging technologies, improving repair quality and efficiency.
By standardizing training and education, Plasnomic ensures that plastic repair becomes a recognized, specialized skill—helping collision repair shops increase repair capacity, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
